In addition to the extraordinary and disruptive price, there are a great many reasons why the EkoKat Power Catamaran is so different from anything else that has come before.

Welcome to a 60ft yacht with a giant flybridge, the size usually found on a 120ft superyacht.
Ekokat’s fundamental full-beam design means we have a huge 8 metre 25ft flybridge on the 60S, and a massive 10 metre 32ft flybridge on the 60W. This delivers an enormous 50 or 66sqm of floor space.
Show more Ekokat pushes boundaries and seems to defy logic by providing spaces that would normally be found on a conventional 80ft power catamaran with side decks, or a 100-120ft monohull yacht. As well as an enormous space to relax. Ekokat’s sky lounge is set up to provide you with all you need to spend the entire day and evening up on the top deck if you wished. Everything has been painstakingly thought of and all designed around practical experience. At the rear you have options for sun loungers, a full-width raised sunpad (with storage underneath for an extended beach club) or sunpad complete with jacuzzi. A galley come sit-up bar seating 6 is fully equipped with sink, fridge, freezer, storage, and ice maker. We even have a superyacht dumb waiter to bring all your provisions up from the galley kitchen below in the salon (penthouse) apartment. We have never seen one of these before on a yacht under 100ft in size, have you? On the other side of the deck is an electric griddle BBQ. Our centrepiece forward sunpad is raised up from the ground by 1.2 metres, specifically so you can relax with an unobstructed 180° degree view whilst staying just out of wind when moving along at speed, or if it is a windy day when on anchor. From this position, the owner can sit to the front and operate the boat using our fixed helm station, whilst staying in the company of friends and family. Underneath this sunpad is a slot for a large oval acrylic dining table top, which when quickly removed can be placed on the coffee table behind to transform this drinks/light snacks area into one of 5 places on the boat to formerly dine. Behind the sunpad facing the rear is a huge 55-75 inch electrically raising/hidden smart TV. Our four Bessenzoni captain helm seats forming our Starship Helm stations are precisely positioned for optimum views for both drivers and guests. With XENTA system joystick and all controls in the armrests we have created a superyacht style and true ‘Star Trek’ style driving experience, with two giant 24 inch Raymarine multi-function displays. These screens even provide 180° degree vision forward and rear above the water, and forward and down underwater via the 4K infrared panoramic motor-controlled cameras. The latter being perfect for the captain to navigate day and night, and avid fisherman and the kids to marvel at life below the surface. The screens tilt to provide unobstructed views forward. Control the entire ship from your seat. Encapsulating and covering all of this luxury and high tech is a magnificent and simply huge solar array. With retractable sections front and rear to let the sun sneak in for sun worshippers, this unprecedented amount of solar drives over 100kwh of power into the battery system ensuring the use of 48v DC Whisper generators, even after a full night’s use of the air conditioning, is rarely if ever required. Introducing the world’s 1st Luxury Penthouse Apartment afloat with guaranteed 360° sea-views, that transforms into a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom Presidential Suite at night!
Show more Primarily conceived to help prevent motion/sea sickness by not accommodating guests at all in bedrooms down in the hulls of the boat at the waterline level it opens up a whole new experience in yachting. Our full beam boat width design and no-bedrooms-in-the-hulls approach, means our main deck apartment provides more than doubles the floorspace of other similar-sized power catamaran salons, and as is the case with our flybridge, puts this primary and important space up at the size expected from a 100-120ft monohull superyacht and 70 or 80ft power catamaran. Huge open plan luxury apartment with separate sofa, TV, relaxation, galley, and dining areas with voice activated electrically operated walls that create separate privacy rooms and/or bedrooms day or night. Maintaining a high quality and comfortable nights sleep is essential, whether on land or at sea.
EkoKat guest suites are huge and ALL sit high up at main-deck level with explorer yacht style windows and panoramic views over the ocean to the horizon. Very importantly safety comes first. Sleeping at main-deck level gives immediate access to the main-deck outside and the fresh air.
The hulls of a boat down at waterline level are the worse places to sleep for anybody that is prone to motion or sea sickness. With limited views of the horizon, a gently swaying boat unexpectedly upsets our inner gyroscope and can be very unpleasant.
Why take the risk with a boat with bedrooms down in the hulls.Think about it Yachts under 150ft rarely have more than a main deck master cabin on the main deck because it is assumed that there is nowhere to put bedrooms.
With EkoKat’s ingenious multi-functional main deck salon that transforms from a ‘Penthouse Apartment’ in the day to a ‘Presidential Suite’ at night using voice activated electric walls and state of the art luxury sofa beds* we have seemingly done the impossible.
With EkoKat all guests get to sleep high up at main deck level, with extra-large bedroom suites, panoramic large windows with views afar to the horizon, immediate access to the outside if every needed for safety, and for fresh air, and of course significantly less chance of getting motion sickness.
* Not to be confused with regular sofa beds! the EkoKat sofabeds, custom developed exclusively in collaboration with ‘Stay in Bed’ UK, provide an exceptionally high quality and 5 star hotel standard sleeping experience. Let’s face it, everyone likes a lovely bathroom with lots of space to move around.
EkoKat has cleverly managed to create giant over-sized bathrooms onboard, that yet again offer spaces the size usually found on a 100-120ft monohull yacht.
There is nothing worse that trying to squeeze into a tiny shower cubicle or manoeuvrer yourself into position on a WC!There is only so much space available on a sub 100ft boat, however because EkoKat have not put bedrooms down in the hulls of the yacht, this has meant we have ample available space to create giant bathrooms.
Our walk-in rain showers are up to 1.7mx1m in size, enough room even for 2 people which also makes them ideal for families with small children.Descending the stairs you first arrive at a dressing area with vanity basin and mirrored cupboards.
WC’s are big enough for bidets and showers and luxuriously tiled with rain shower and faucet attachments.
Even the two crew single room/kids dens have en-suite style rain shower and WC’s.

Your private VIP lounge, fully equipped and self-contained with unmatched panoramic 180° views of the ocean.
EkoKat has been cleverly thought out with practicality in mind, and also to enable families or groups of friends to spend private time if they wish by utilising different areas of the yacht. It has been conceived with unique layouts that are designed for long-stay yacht use.
This means 2-3 couples/families could happily spend long periods of time afloat without getting in way of each other. This is important and only becomes apparent when spending more than a few days on a yacht with others.
For this reason the foredeck on the bow (Lounge on the Bow), Flybridge, Cockpit with its Mezzanine sunpad, and of course the salon (penthouse apartment), are all equipped with everything you need to spend the entire day there if you wish.
The Lounge on the Bow has its own galley with electric BBQ hob, fridge/freezer, ice maker, sink and storage. The 2 metre comfortable Teslin sofa is positioned for a ‘tappas bar’ style eating. The sunpad is huge at 3mx2m in size, with removable centre table and kite shade accommodating 4-6 people if desired.
Spacious access to the 2 crew/single/kids den cabins with en suite toilet/shower are found on top of the hulls each side, whilst steps to the forward apartment toilet/bidet and huge shower room are just steps away inside the doorway.
There is important storage to keep all lines/BERS, fenders and the bridle/snubber for the anchor out of sight, but with easy access.
With the deliberate absence of side-decks, this Lounge on the Bow also becomes a private terrace for those sleeping forward in the penthouse apartment, and the shallow gradient steps provide access to the flybridge directly.

The world’s 1st and only Mezzanine Level SunPad on a power catamaran MSD™.
Yet another extraordinary ‘superyacht’ experience on a 60ft yacht, the MSD™ Sunpad is elevated almost 3 meters (9ft) above sea level and commands a wonderful view down over the ocean and our inflatable platform beach-club. Show more Room for 5 (60S) or a staggering 7 (60W) people laid out together. As its name suggests being at mezzanine level, the MSD can be accessed easily from the flybridge as well as the cockpit on the main deck. A truly remarkable and favourite part of the boat for sun worshippers and kids/families alike, with an easy-to-erect kite shade for some respite from the sun. This cockpit area of the yacht really comes into play for your sea-based activities with friends and the family. See our EkoKat Beach Club unique feature section and section on our e-water sports/scuba garage, supplied as standard. With an electric BBQ, sink, fridge and ice maker, this entire and potentially private area is the equivalent of the Lounge on the Bow at the rear of the yacht, yet even larger. In fact very rarely do power catamarans have aft (the rear of the boat) sunpads, as this space is invariably used for an unsightly tender on a hydraulic platform or with crane mechanism. A completely unnecessary and costly expense in EkoKats humble opinion, something else to go wrong and quite frankly an eye-sore. Look at the difference from a visual and practical perspective, sunpad or tender! The EkoKat tender is stored neatly under the MSD sunpad and out-of-view. It can be lowered into the water with electric remote control (or manually) in less than 1 minute without the need for hydraulic platforms and cranes, also meaning there is far less to go wrong. Practical, clever and, not over-the-top thinking has made the Mezzanine Sunpad and EkoKat cockpit area, linked directly to the flybridge, truly unique and you need to pinch yourself again to think you are not on a 120ft superyacht. A word about the alternative . Over the years there has certainly been many fine invention and innovation that has propelled the motor yacht industry forward at a great rate of knots making life a lot easier for the boat owner. There are some however that EkoKat feel are unnecessary, potential very dangerous, less practical and waste of money.
Hydraulic platforms are all good and well in principal. Lowering guests (and tenders) into the water. What happens if they go wrong and fail. If a hydraulic platform fails when submerged the engines cannot be operated for safety reasons. What happens if you are on anchor and slipping? This can all happen and does. They also comprise of huge sections of sharp metal brackets and motors, and can be hazardous especially to children if not operated properly.
Why bother? EkoKat favour the superyacht approach, as it is both safer and offers a far more extensive experience in the water. Modula platforms are inflated in less than 3 minutes and simple to place into position and remove and store.
Our owners can choose from any number of platforms and accessories and create their own ideal beach club with umbrellas, sun loungers and even a swimming pool with nets to keep unwanted sea creatures out!
EkoKat offer branded inflatable platforms and also manufacture our own branded as EkoSea

Safe anchoring, observing the teeming underwater world, and 360 degree vision above the water in 4K clarity
EkoKat’s loves to hunt out super shallow anchorages in tiny little coves. Equipped with stainless steel hull tips and rudders lower than the propellers, EkoKat’s favourite party trick is to drive right up to the beach and kiss the sand safely while keeping an eye on everything below the surface of the water.
EkoKat’s 1.1m 4ft draft with rudders lower than the props, and stainless steel forward hull protection shields, means EkoKat isn’t scared of shallow sandy seabeds, and loves to hunt out super shallow anchorages in tiny little coves. With the sudden emergence of coral reef, bommies, and other hazards, care needs to take serious care not to hit anything!
It doesn’t only require coral reefs though for the diligent skipper to need to know what’s going on under the surface of the water and our 4k Infrared panoramic remote-operated camera system is second to none for giving you total coverage. Also great for fishing! Vision above water can also be extremely useful, especially if you fancy controlling the boat from downstairs in the penthouse apartment.
Combined with radar and obstacle alerts switched on, GPS map plotter and our flybridge forward and aft 4k cameras, this yacht really can be operated using instruments-only day and night. (Clearly someone on deck and on watch is always the most diligent choice).
Our over and underwater 4k infrared camera system when used in conjunction with our 24’ Axoim 2 MFD displays at both flybridge helm stations is the pinnacle of technology and is also great fund for the family and kids to observe.
We have never seen a power catamaran yacht kitted out (and as standard) to such an extent but feel it is just another example of EkoKat’s game-changing approach to yachting.

EkoKat consider dining on board to be a major part of yachting.
Weather, sea conditions and present company determine where, and how, for this daily and nightly pleasure, and EkoKat provides a myriad of options.
As a result we have designed the yacht and five key areas of the boat to facilitate any circumstance or dining pleasure. EkoKat is all about being multifunctional, so much so we have a separate section on this subject and consider it a unique feature.so much so we have a separate section on this subject and consider it a unique feature.
For example, in the case of dining on smaller boats, often people prefer not to actually sit at a formal dining table too often and having one can therefore can be a waste of space. We do however recognise a formal arrangement can be the order of the day for a few hours, and therefore have clever systems to turn relaxation or other areas into formal places to eat within minutes.
Starting inside, the kitchen galley acts as a kitchen work surface, sit-up bar, or with flaps that raise and extend outwards, a formal dining table for 6 people. Located aft of the apartment, with the doors closed the area is air-conditioned, but with the 4 metre wide glass sliding doors open fully, the fresh air can be enjoyed. It is important to be able to sit for several hours relaxing and chatting with your meal, so we offer the option for conventional stools or super comfortable dining chairs with longer legs.
Up top on the flybridge you have the option of the sit-up bar/galley surface with an actual superyacht-inspired dumb waiter that brings your supplies up without the need to carry them up the steps.
The array of single relax seats and coffee table behind the 55ft TV on the flybridge doubles as a relax area for drinks, or by adding a 6ft oval acrylic table top that is stored inside the sunpad, a more formal arrangement and low-level seating dining for six is created.
Down in the cockpit with privacy during Med style stern too docking, there is an arrangement for dining for an astonishing 12-16 guests to dine. (and remember this is a 60ft yacht!)
The Lounge on the Bow can comfortably seat 4 people on a Teslin sofa, positioned by the Tappas Style dining top with direct ocean view.
Last but not least our various sunpads come equipped with handy drinks holders (such a small but actually important thing, often missed by yacht builders) and slot-in tables/trays.

Welcome to a superyacht driving experience on a 60ft power catamaran.
EkoKat is equipped with the highest-tech Xenta systems power and joystick control systems built into Besenzoni high-precision pilot seats with the largest 24″ Raymarine multi function displays. A true Star Trek style experience at sea.
Xenta X-DP, an option for all Ekokats, is a virtual anchor at the touch of a button. The perfect way of maintaining your exact position without dropping anchor, be it when you are preparing to moor, waiting to refuel or dropping guests of by tender.
Once activated the system automatically holds your boat’s position – even in windy conditions or strong currents. The X-DP System uses GPS data and a Compass integrated with a gyroscopic platform to hold both the craft’s position and bow direction.
Xenta X Dock, an all-speed, all-steer, cruising joystick is for use outside the marina and not only for parking. It works on the same principle as cruise control in a car and literally means there is no need for a steering wheel. For those that cannot get their head around that, our fixed and redundancy helm station, centre-forward on the flybridge, provides familiarity with a traditional steering wheel, all controls needed and a 9 inch multi-function Raymarine Display. Indeed this may very well be your position for anchoring in tight spots and parking in the marina.
Back to your Captain Kirk experience helm seat, there are two identical and convenient set-ups, port and starboard of the almost 8-metre beam flybridge. Each house Xenta X Power throttles, X Dock joystick, bow thrusters, anchor winch control with chain count, and start-stop. Commanding a prominent position right in front of each pilot seat is the largest Raymarine Multi-Function-Display available, the 24’ Axiom 2.
Mounted on a slide-tilt mechanism, the display can be tilted down easily so as not to obstruct the view forward but still give instant access to all sub-screens being displayed. Radar, GPS plotter, engine systems and 4k infrared/colour, motorised panoramic actual views. Four cameras are mounted, flybridge forward and aft, and both forward and directly down underwater. Perfect for instrument driving , anchoring in areas with coral or other restrictive hazards, as well as fishing and amusing the kids!
Last but not least, next to each captain seat is an identical guest/co-pilot seat without the controls, so they too can enjoy the perfect view and driving experience.

To any responsible boat owner the anchor is likely to be most important thing on their yacht.
The Best anchor in the World as standard with EkoKat.Changing weather and sea conditions can very quickly have serious consequences, let alone affecting a good night’s sleep wondering if the boat is dragging.
The ULTRA claim to be the World’s Best anchor seems fairly undisputed and whilst it’s price tag reflects this, it is money well spent in Ekokat’s opinion.
In fact we are the only production Power Catamaran yacht under 100ft in the world to fit Ultra anchors as standard without charging extra, which we hope says a lot.
The Ultra decades old proven design literally scoops up and digs into the sand, where other classic designs use the plough effect which does the opposite. Hand made in 316 stainless steel and hand polished.
A failing and dragging anchor can potentially mean the end of your boat, so surely our decision to fit the best as STANDARD even if it is 3 x as expensive as the usual choice made by yacht brands.
EkoKat comes with 100 metres of chain, allowing anchoring in 20 metres of water with a 5 x length to depth ratio.

No yacht has had so much thought put into PRACTICALITY on board than Ekokat, designed by actual yacht people that have spent thousands of hours at sea as well as naval architects.
People that have experienced operating yachts in multiple continents with varying climates, tidal differentials, and with guests ranging from babies through to grandparents.
What is it like to be on board for extended periods of time under varying conditions. What is practical and what is not. Quite often the tiniest of things matter. So many yachts these days seem to trade practicality for latest architect design features, and the drive to out beat other architects!
EkoKat is full of practicality where it matters, as well as innovation and spectacular design, from the smallest of things such as drinks holders in all places on the boat one would want them, especially when underway.Sat on the bow of a boat travelling at speed having to hold on to your drink constantly is just annoying.
Of course we go far further than that, and all the way to clever thinking when it comes to the example of the forward sunpad on the flybridge of Ekokat. As any yacht person will know, and from their experience at sea with varying weather and climate, it may be a lovely sunny day but there could be a slight nip or chill in the air travelling along at speed or even when on anchor. It can be frustrating for the guest being unable to sit on the bow of the boat, and where they are forced to move out of wind to the back of the boat (hence another reason for EkoKat’s Mezzanine level Sunpad MSD).
In this instance the flybridge may also be out of bounds, but not with EkoKat. Notice how the forward sunpad is raised up 1.2m (4ft). This is deliberate and allows the sunworshipper to lay in the sun (solar roof in retract mode), or simply relax in the shade, whilst importantly shielded from the wind ahead (notice the wind deflectors with curled wing tips in front of the sunpad).
This exact height means with person laid down they are out of wind, but sat up with backrest raised, head and shoulders are high enough to get a 180° panoramic view, with the rest of body still out of wind. With a long long passage from point A to B, this small thing can make a significant difference. The whole point of the journey is to gaze out, and ideally at what is in front.
We use this as just one example of the lengths we have gone to with every single square inch of the boat. The fundamental point is show how EkoKat firmly believes it is ‘the little things that count’ as well.

EkoKat believes that a happy crew is paramount to a happy and well managed boat.
Owner and guest privacy is also important, so our two crew rooms are designed with size and comfort in mind, so the crew are very content to spend their own quality time in them. Once again because EkoKat have not placed guest bedrooms in the hulls, we have enough space for much larger than normal crew rooms.
Accessed easily from the Lounge on the Bow, oversized hatches descend from the top of the bows into areas that occupy the entire front of both hulls. Here is a full-sized single bed with swing out Smart TV and Tablet that enables the crew to monitor the ships systems as well as the 4K cameras that face out to sea both forward and rear, and underwater in the direction of the anchor and directly down.Small things but highly useful especially from within the crew cabins.
There is a vanity sink and storage cupboards and a door leading to the WC and rain shower with separate faucet.
These crew rooms have also been designed and furnished so they can also be used as two guest single rooms for owner operated situations, or as Ekokat can comfortably be operated with just a Captain, one of them could be used by guests.
We also call them ‘Kids Dens’ as they make the perfect play area for the kids with TV and computer tablet. While Mum and Dad relax on the Lounge on the Bow, the kids are even safely in ear-shot adjacent to them.

EkoKat has adopted the Stawad WaveRider hull series proven design, and was sea trialled by the team with hull/yacht number 5 in July this year (see video).
WaveRider effortlessly does exactly as its name suggests, with this proven power catamaran efficient hull design series, cutting through, and riding through the highest of seas with precision.
The design ensures oncoming water flow is channelled through the tunnel between the 2 hulls, following a trajectory rearwards as efficiently as possible, so as to least impact onto the supporting bridge deck.
As Ekokat is a performance power catamaran capable of speeds of 20-25 knots, this design helps reduce slam noise and interference with boat steering and control. It also protects the boat against wear and tear.
Ekokat’s foredeck (lounge on the bow) and tops of the hulls at the front of the boat, sit high up 2.6 metres above the water level, and in many competitor cases this is an extra 1 metre. This means it is the perfect boat for cruising in locations and conditions with big waves. With a medium sea state and waves of 1-1.5 metre (4-5ft) in height, guests can happily sit up front and not get wet as well as enjoy a smooth ride.
Furthermore, Ekokat’s ‘bridgedeck’ clearance, the horizontal part of the structure that joins the 2 hulls together, is a very generous 1.2 metres (3.9ft), again meaning as little disturbance from water flowing through under it especially at high speeds. A low bridgedeck clearance can significantly affect manoeuvrability, boat control as well as cause extra slamming.
Many yacht brand designers sacrifice a high bridgedeck clearance level from the water level, as it means reducing the space in hull bedrooms connecting through to the salon. Ekokat of course do not have hull bedrooms so we do not have this issue, and along with a high sitting bow can therefore have the boat sit higher out of the water to provide a smoother ride and less chance of getting wet when sat up on the bow, as well as the performance implications.
Hull number 6 went into production October 2024.

EkoKat’s powertrain engine options cover a wide range of demands and offer unbeatable performance figures for a 40-ton (60S), and a 50-ton motor yacht (60W)
The 60S cruises with astounding fuel consumption from just 25-30 litres per hour (both engines combined) and achieves top speeds of up to 25/26 knots with our Yanmar or Volvo Penta options. The 60W,despite being 10 tons heavier, will also burn from only 35 litres per hour (2 engines) and likewise reach a top speed of 26 knots with the Volvo D-13 1000’s .

The 60W, despite being 10 tons heavier, will also burn from only 35 litres per hour (2 engines) and likewise reach a top speed of 26 knots with the Volvo D-13 1000’s .Summarising engine options.Choose the Yanmar 550’s for the 60S if you like slow cruising at an astounding 25-30ltrs/hr, a maximum range just exceeding 1300nm, and are happy with occasional bursts of up to 19-20knots.
Choosing this lead-in option for the 60W will see you down at 11/12 knots cruise and 17 knot top speed, which is enough for many, and on par with most heavyweight power catamarans with their bigger engine options. Range will be a little lower at around 800nm, yet still significantly greater than a monohull equivalent.
For 10 knots cruising at just 50 ltrs/hour, good 15/16 knot mid-range speed cruising economy, and a very comfortable 20-21 knot regular top speed you will want the Yanmar 640’s in the 60S. The 60W will deliver this level of performance with the Volvo 725’s or 800’s.
If you like to get to places a little quicker occasionally, with a top speed of up to 25-26 knots, and still enjoy a great fuel burn of 125 ltrs per hour when cruising at less that 1700 rpm and 15 knots, fit the 60S with the Volvo Penta D13 800’s. For an extra few knots take the D-13 1000’s. For the 60W you may want the D-13 1000s which will comfortably get you 21 knots cruise and 26 knots top speed.
* Speeds and performance varies on many factors from sea and wind conditions to total load including fuel tank levels.

Unique Features
A solution designed for full-beam (width) power catamarans such as EkoKat and ‘Med Style’ stern-to-parking (the need to pick up a bow line and walk to the front of the boat on the side decks for those that are familiar), has turned out to be a great solution even for boats with side-decks.
Our unique and highly practical designed tool for the job, can now be purchased from EkoKat by anyone with any boat type.

The single and only really viable argument for having side-decks on a power catamaran with it’s safer front door access to the bow, could be for bow line retrieval (or thought to be). Coming into park up, reversing into your space, retrieving the bowline with a boat hook, walking to the front of the boat along the side decks whilst pulling the boat away from the dock, before tying it down firmly using a cleat. This suspends the boat away from the dock.
How to do this with no side decks? The animation and pictures explains. Every possible circumstance has been thought of, from tightly packed boats together, to the BERS getting caught on knots in the bowline underwater.
Why is BERS also so suitable for boats with side decks? Because bowlines can be notoriously dirty/muddy and if they have been in the water for several years, likely covered in sharp barnacles that can slice cuts in your hands. It is jovially known as the ‘worst job’ in boating, if you don’t wear gloves you can end up with razor sharp cuts that can go sceptic and hurt a lot! and you will most likely get your boat dirty with mud and silt splashing all along your side decks.
Any seasoned Med boat owner and users knows what we are saying. It is all down to the marina and the conditions underwater. (remember as well, there are always disrespectable boat users at every marina, that will choose to empty their black tanks in the marina, we have all seen it and we don’t need to say any more on that subject!)
So strangely BERS is very much of use for any boat and any boat owner/user.
EkoKat is designed for put out 6-7 fenders each side, with the middle three being lowered from the flybridge and secured and adjusted on 3 metre lines from up top. There are large windows that open inwards and up, both port and starboard in the salon, which are primarily for letting the breeze in when on anchor, but also offer useful access when tightly packed into a parking sport Med Style. Rarely do boat owners mind stepping on their boat if parked next to you and if needing to untangle fenders and lines, and worst case scenario boats can be pushed aside and a dinghy can even be got between them.
